Bonsai Cork Bark Arakawa Maple update – in leaf | Japanese Cork Bark Arakawa Bonsai Maple
Pruning work was done on this bonsai tree in spring. The canopy was getting too big and during the pruning the branch lengths were reduced considerably. Spring is a good time to do such work as the trees are not in leaf and the all the branches are visible and makes it easier to decided how far back the reduction on the branches should go and also which branches should removed completely. This is a quick update showing the tree in full leaf.
