This video is continuation from Part 1. I created a root ball of a much reduced size, exposing more of the trunk to raised the exposed part above the soil level by about 5cm. The pot had already been prepared with mesh placed over drainage holes and secures with hair pin type bent wire. The pot was also wired with two anchor wires. A mound of bonsai soil was placed in the pot and the tree eased on it just a little off centre. More soil was added and the anchor wires secured the tree in the pot the wires tightened and the ends buried in the soil to hide the wires. Chopsticks were used to drive the soil into the roots and remove any air pockets. Off camera the tree was thoroughly watered with a fine mist spray. It is now good for a further two years when the next repot will be. It is intended to change the pot then with a slightly larger pot.
