This Zelkova Group Planting was acquired in May of last year. It had been neglected and was in a bad state. I nurtured it, fed it weekly with liquid fertiliser. A year on it had recovered enough for some work to be done. The trees in the group had grown to a height in excess of eight feet and in meters its over two and half meters.
I came to the conclusion that it would benefit from air layering to reduce the height an also increase the number of trees in the group.
This video is the result. I expect to open the air layer in at the end of this summer and will make a progression video then.
